Thank you for purchasing Jian & Ling brand bamboo flooring, our wish is that you will enjoy your new floor for many years. Hunan Jian & Ling Bamboo Flooring Co. (J & L) is one of the largest and most highly recognized factories in China to produce bamboo flooring. We are proud to offer the following warranty statement.

(J & L) warrants that its flooring installed in residential dwellings in accordance with (J & L) installation instructions and used strictly for residential purposes, will be free from manufacturing defects or defects in lamination and assembly to the original purchaser for twenty five (25) years from the date of purchase. Further, (J & L) warrants that the finish installed on the flooring will not wear- through for ten (10) years. “Wear-through” is defined as wearing through the coating so that the raw bamboo is exposed. Gloss reduction is not considered wear-through and is not covered by this warranty.

Any alterations from the original manufactured state are not covered by this warranty. Any defects, which arise as a result of improper installation or installation of defective materials, are not covered by this warranty. Any defects which arise as a result of improper care such as indentations, scratches or exposure to: excess water, extreme heat, extreme dryness, pet discharges, exposure to abrasive or chemical agents, misuse, negligence and improper maintenance are not covered by this warranty. Exposure caused by sun discoloration or oxidization is not covered by this warranty.

Please write to us or see our web site for maintenance instructions. This is the only warranty given by (J & L) for the flooring. If a warranty claim is, at the sole discretion of (J & L) approved the remedy shall be one of the following options to be determined by (J & L): (1) repair of the affected area, (2) (J & L) will provide replacement planks for the affected area. (3) A prorated refund for the affected area.

(J & L) shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages based upon the foregoing warranty, contracts, negligence, strict liability or any other legal claim. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. The foregoing warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state. Any and all disputes concerning this warranty shall be heard in the jurisdiction of Virginia Beach , Virginia unless disallowed by a superceding law.

To make a warranty claim the owner of the flooring must notify (J & L) in writing within twenty (20) days after discovering the warranty issue. Give a full description and send a photograph of the problem area. Do not under take any repairs until (J & L) has had reasonable opportunity to inspect the area for which the warranty claim is being made.
